VAGUS FLOW® and the art of breathing by Christina Koller

When I realised 15 years ago how powerful the effect of breathing is on our health and well-being, it was clear to me that I would focus on this area from then on.
I completed a 4-year training programme to become an IKP breathing therapist. In combination with my studies in social work and my 30 years of experience in the field of spirituality and yoga, I created the VAGUS FLOW® method and founded the company Sanajer SA. San Ajer means "healthy air" in Romansh.

Principle: "The quality of your breath determines the quality of your life."
The aim: to promote health and well-being through simple interventions that are suitable for everyday life. Practice-orientated approaches help you to achieve your goals.

Application: VAGUS FLOW® can be used anywhere - in nature, in my practice, online, 1:1 coaching, groups and when travelling.

Effect: Influence your autonomic nervous system directly through your breath. This creates new neural pathways in the brain that promote resilience and help to recognise positive thoughts and overcome negative ones more quickly.

Problem solving: Use your breath to direct your thoughts and reduce stress. Find your way back to inner orientation through breath and body awareness.
Implementation: By training your breathing and body awareness, you learn to focus and structure, which helps you to recognise your inner strength and uniqueness.

Challenge: The biggest challenge lies in the regularity of the practice and the integration of breath observation into everyday life.

Foreword for the book by Christina Koller

A video on social media prompted me (my soul) to write to Christina saying that I thought her video was sooo great. She wrote back and I watched more of her videos on the internet and only then realised the war and various battles Christina had to go through. 

I wish I had been there for her back then, but the universe wanted it differently. 

A few weeks later, we met for a cappuccino. We talked about our lives, we laughed, we cried, drank a second cappuccino and became friends. I learnt from her: "Resurrection - it's in our hands". 

Her war and battles have been over for a moment and Christina has managed to live her life with strength and clarity. 

Every life has challenges where it's good to know that someone is on my side, unconditionally. And if, contrary to expectations, there are new battles to fight, Christina knows she no longer has to fight alone. 

 

Life tested her very hard and she passed, with the greatest possible flying colours. Christina's experiences in the lowest depths of life are immeasurable values that she can bring to the therapy of people. 

I quickly accepted her enquiry as to whether I would like to edit her book. It was only later, while I was working on the book, after it had been printed, that I realised what an honour it was to work with Christina and to be able to edit her book. 

 

I wish the book many readers and much success in reading and using it, and much sunshine to the author!
